Huffnus began his career in residential concrete work. In 2000, he switched careers to focus on glass building and commercial installation. Huffnus used this skillset along with his construction background to move into residential carpentry for custom homes. He worked directly under the general contractor and was exposed to roofing, siding, soffit and fascia work. Huffnus leverage this experience to open his own business where he serviced apartment complex rehabs, realtor driven remodels and other residential projects. This experience eventually transitioned into Huffnus simultaneously running a casework company for a local general contractor. He began working on projects for clients including Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A, Panera Bread, Aspen Dental and more before transitioning to the role of superintendent.
At MRG Construction Corp, Huffnus has overseen projects for Salon Lofts, Starbucks and in house clients.
